Hymn to the Chesapeake opened at the Trawler Dinner Theater on the Eastern Shore and has had over ninety performances in Virginia and Maryland, as well as performances in Washington, D.C., New York City, and St. Petersburg, Russia. This musical play has been adapted from the book Hymn to the Chesapeake, ROAD Publishers, 33412 Lankford Highway, Painter, Virginia 23420. The author uses fragments of actual conversations, traditional melodies, adapted lyrics from traditional songs, captions, etc. He also uses the works of various painters, photographers, and writers as inspirations for various poems. The literary works of William Warner have been used extensively and are often quoted. The Crisfield section is based on a chapter of Warner’s Beautiful Swimmers. The known composers whose works have been adapted herein are Gordon Bok (Clear Away in the Morning, Mrs. MacDonald’s Lament, and Saben, the Woodcutter), Les Dwier (Sadness and Divorce, Death, and Symmetry), Dodie Welsh Paris (Ladies of the Bay), Andy Stewart (Blackbird, Golden), Bob Zentz (Companioned by the Sea), Chris Van Cleave (Emmanuelle), and William Whiting and John B. Dykes (Eternal Father). In some cases, the author has not been able to identify the sources of the music adapted. The introduction and arrangement of Leave Her Johnny, Leave Her have been adapted from a recording by The Virginia Company (Blow Ye Winds). Transcription and many arrangements are by Patrick Belote, Judi Beck and Carin Cowell. Judi Beck first conceived of this project and has been both a driving force and a font of ideas in regard to its completion. Bruce Jones greatly assisted with the plotting. Also offering valuable advice and direction were Gray Arthur, Ann Louise Johnston, David Poyer, Lenore Hart, Elizabeth Arthur, Donna Robinson, and Joseph Adams. First presented by the Trawler Dinner Theater under the direction of Judi Beck August 1995 in Exmore, Virginia with the following cast: Larry Lovelady, Marilyn Kellam, Laura Trala, Robert Oliver, Jim Turner, Sherry Belote, and Robert P. Arthur. Guitar by Bruce Jones and keyboard by Patrick Belote.

Walker sized heart attack!!!!

Okay dronish should come with its own warning label. "attention all readers be prepared to have a walker universe sized heart attack!" Reading dronish is like eating a roll of chocolate chip cookie dough, smothered in awesomesauce, and then dusted with unicorn glitter. You have outdone yourself this time and I'm super excited for Earth. The cliffhanger you gave at the end of dronish will haunt me until the next book.

Dronish - Alive and Well!

I've been impatiently waiting for Dronish. Not only was it well worth the wait, Jaymin Eve released it early. It's great. I loved it! You can almost feel how the characters have grown little by little over the span of the books. One of the big secrets that has been building through the series was revealed to all. Someone disappears, someone reappears (kind of) and more 'what the hey moments' with plenty of action. Not sure if Brace's mother can be trusted. Love Abby and Brace. Gotta love Fury. Looking forward to reading Earth although I don't want the series to end.

Couldn't stop reading until I read all six books!

Wow, what an amazing and engaging series! I was supposed to be packing up my apartment to move the past few days but I have read all six books in the series instead!
I was fascinated about Ms. Eve's description of the Dronish world. I wish there was a bit more character development of the half walkers introduced in this book (Sapha) and book 5 (Delane). I also wish there was a bit more of Sapha's inner conflict mentioned in the summary. She only says her world isn't worth saving since it is already dying once or twice...it is not a major roadblock to Abby's mission.
Those couple of criticisms aside, it's rare you find a series that has so many characters you genuinely care about. Characters grow on you as they grow on the protagonist (ex: Fury) so you feel like you are experiencing new relationship developments with Abby and friends.
One advantage to starting. Series late is that I only have one more book to wait for and it will be out later this year! I am anxious to see if my prediction as to who the 7th half walker is. If I am right, it is someone who had an impact on Abby and we haven't seen her since book 1.
I highly recommend this series, as well as this author's Supernatural Prison series!

  Kim Perelli earned her BA in communications from the University of Southern California and has a successful background in advertising, sales, and marketing. Currently she works for SwaddleBaby, manufacturers of a patented swaddling blanket. She resides in Long Beach, CA and is the married mother of two children. Kim has dealt with the issue of incontinence personally, her problem was alleviated by the therapy used in this book.
  
  Kathryn Kassai, PT, CES has over 32 years experience as a physical therapist. She earned her BS in Physical Therapy from the University of Delaware in 1978. She founded Praxis Physical Therapy in San Pedro, California in 1988. Today Praxis enjoys one of the highest customer satisfaction rankings of any physical therapy clinic in the country. Kathryn has specialized in the conservative treatment of incontinence, pelvic floor rehabilitation and pelvic pain for the past 15 years. She lives in the Los Angeles area with her husband and four children.

  I found this book to be extremely helpful, I found the photos and illustrations helpful in teaching me to do the home program. I now know how to strengthen my core muscles while carrying on with my everday life. I have to say the information in this book has cured me of my incontinence. I plan to tell other people about this book!

  Wow a book with a simple solution to a serious and very embarrassing problem. I bought 3 copies of The Bathroom Key. One to keep and two to give to friends. This is an outstanding book on how to cure urinary incontinence with physical therapy. The book is written in a very easy to read conversational style. The exercises are well illustrated by the authors, and easy to follow. My friend couldn't put the book down. She was so excited, she immediately ordered two books, one for a friend who had urinary incontinence, and one for her doctor. In sharing her excitement how this book helped her, she discovered how common this problem really is. The book gave her permission to discuss the issue of incontinence in a non-threatening way that otherwise remains tabu. She's ordering more books. While The Bathroom Key is a serious medical book, and covers the subject in depth, it reads more like a novel, with real stories that captivate the reader, lay and professional alike. The book gives the reader hope and the means to conquer her incontinence without resorting to medication or surgery. Highly recommend it.

  Breakthrough for curing urinary incontinence finally!

  The Bathroom Key describes step by step how to do physical therapy to cure urinary incontinence. All of you women out there who secretly wet your pants should read this book and follow the directions for kegel exercise to strengthen the pelvic floor muscles. Within a couple months you'll be dry as a bone. It's fun reading too!
